It is an annual event celebrated worldwide during the month of February, focusing on fostering a more inclusive society for individuals with disabilities. JDAIM promotes understanding, respect, and equal opportunities for people of all abilities, regardless of their religious background.

Havdalah Ceremony

The Union County JDAIM Havdalah is a special event that combines the traditional Havdalah ceremony with the powerful message of acceptance and unity. Havdalah is a Jewish ceremony that marks the end of the Sabbath and the beginning of the new week. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and setting intentions for the week ahead.

About Don't Hide It Flaunt it

Don't Hide It Flaunt it (DHIFI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with differences and celebrating their unique talents and stories. Founded by Meg Zucker, who was born without a left hand, DHIFI promotes acceptance, respect, and understanding by sharing personal stories of people with various physical and invisible differences.

At Union County JDAIM Havdalah, we are thrilled to have Don't Hide It Flaunt it as our partner. Together, we aim to create an inclusive community where diversity is celebrated and embraced, enabling everyone to thrive and excel in their own way.
