Purim Customs and Traditions
Discover the rich customs and traditions associated with Purim as you immerse yourself in the festive spirit. One of the most significant traditions is the reading of the Megillat Esther, also known as the Book of Esther, which recounts the story of Purim. Attend our interactive Megillah reading, where our talented performers bring the story to life.
Mishloach Manot – Exchanging Gifts
Purim is a time for generosity and friendship. Prepare beautifully packaged gifts of food and drink, known as Mishloach Manot, to distribute among family, friends, and those in need. Community Christian Academy & Preschool encourages the spirit of giving by organizing a collective Mishloach Manot drive.
Hamentashen – Traditional Treats
Indulge in the delightful taste of Hamentashen, a popular triangular-shaped pastry filled with sweet fillings such as poppy seeds, jam, or chocolate. Join our hands-on baking workshop to learn the art of making these traditional treats, and take home some delicious creations.
