Academic Year Hours
South River Board Of Education operates based on the academic year schedule. Our regular hours of operation during the academic year are as follows:
Monday to Friday
- Morning Session: 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Extended Care
To accommodate the needs of working parents and ensure a safe environment for children, South River Board Of Education offers Extended Care options. Our Extended Care hours are:
Morning Extended Care
- Early Drop-off: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
Afternoon Extended Care
- Afternoon Pick-up: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
During Extended Care hours, students have the opportunity to engage in supervised activities that complement their educational journey. These activities are designed to promote social interaction, creativity, and personal growth.
Summer Program Hours
During the summer, South River Board Of Education offers a specialized summer program designed to provide a stimulating and enjoyable experience for students. The summer program hours are different from the regular academic year hours to accommodate the unique nature of the program:

- Morning Session: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
